NextFaze is a South Australian mobile development studio that turns customer’s ideas for apps into reality.

Although their business focus in on IT, Chief Operations Officer Linda Zaccara (pictured left) is utilising the skills set of a Navitas Accounting intern.

Raxa Bhudia (pictured right) is a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) graduate who’s completing her 12 week Navitas Professional Year internship with this go-ahead enterprise.

And Linda said Raxa exemplifies what is so important in small business, finding that ‘fit’ between new people and the existing culture.

“Raxa has fitted in here perfectly,” Linda said.

“She’s genial, applies herself well, and is helping me with all back-room tasks like financial and operational affairs, GST compliance and if time permits, possibly will help on the financial side of a new business opportunity.”

For her part, Raxa said the internship was everything she was hoping for.

“There’s such a scope of exposure in small and dynamic businesses,” she said.

“I’m not ‘stuck in a silo’ doing just one task, I have exposure to all the fundamentals of small business.”

And with Linda’s 15 years’ experience in small business and involvement in four businesses, Raxa is getting plenty of small business experience!
